Car and Driver shared that the 2011 Hyundai Elantra’s debut at the LA Auto Show boasted slick styling and surprising fuel economy, including 40 mpg highway!
The Elantra marries fluid design with an engine smartly named Nu. The lean and mean all-aluminum engine translates efficiently to the Elantra’s torque and horsepower capabilities.
With 7 available configurations the Elantra is loaded to the brim with standard equipment that includes six airbags, electronic stability and traction control, and anti-lock brakes. Base GLS models come equipped with the six-speed manual transmission, body-colored mirrors and door handles, 15-inch steel wheels, cabin-air filter, power windows and locks, keyless entry, and a six-speaker audio system with auxiliary and USB inputs. Optional equipment includes the Bluetooth touch screen, XM Satellite and rear camera.
